DJ Rakky-Z is from Cambodia and started out as a light and soundman at Pontoon nightclub in Phnom Penh. This gave him the opportunity to watch and listen to many local and world famous DJs including Grandmaster Flash, DJ Craze and DJ Woody to name a few.

This has given him a real appreciation of a wide range of music giving him a solid base to start DJing. He can be seen playing regularly at and Pontoon.
